Radiate and Ignite's Serve and Celebrate

Let's Serve Together!
We firmly believe that people who follow Jesus are people who serve. That's why we take a day each summer to head out into our community, serve with different organisations that are doing great work in our city, and come together to celebrate what God has done and what we've learned in the process.
This year, we are going to serve in the morning and then meet at the Adams' house for a barbeque, swimming, and some BUBBLE SOCCER!!! After you register, you will get an email confirmation with all the event details included, as well as the waiver for Bubble Soccer. See below for this year's serving options!
1. Urban Hope
We have developed a relationship with this organisation over the last year and we can tell you - they are doing incredible work! Urban Hope works with folks who live on the streets of Cambridge by providing things like hot meals and new clothes. What we'll be doing: Sorting clothes for their community closet and helping organize their facilities
2. Community Gardening
This is for those of you with a green thumb! We are going to be doing work in two community gardens this year: one run by the food bank on the property of RARE, an organisation doing great conservation work in our city, and other through Kinbridge, a neighbourhood association in our city that does awesome work like after school programs, employment counselling, and summer day camps. What we'll be doing: The usual gardening stuff - pulling weeds, raking, general cleanup, etc.
3. The Artists Option
Calling all artists! Kinbridge, the neighbourhood association mentioned above, is running some fall events that they would like to have some photo walls made for (the kind with the spot for you to put your face through). The Food Bank, which provides meals for those in our city who struggle to put food on the table, also has some painting they need done around their facility. What we'll be doing: Painting!
4. Cambridge Pregnancy Resource Centre
The CPRC runs some incredible programs for new and soon-to-be single mothers in our city. They do everything from counselling to providing baby clothes to running mums groups. What we'll be doing: Various tasks around the facility located in downtown Galt.
5. Food Bank
The Food Bank is one of those places where an incredibly fundamental need is met - food - but where people are also cared for and helped in a variety of other ways. What we'll be doing: making food for Mike's Lunch, where people can come and get a hot meal, as well as sorting food for the pantry.

Armor of God
All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your family, your future.
More than merely a biblical description of a believer's inventory, Armor of God is about putting on God's armor and developing a personalized prayer strategy to stand firm against derailing schemes. This is a DVD study by author/teacher Priscilla Shirer. A study guide is provided in conjunction with the DVD sessions, where each session is divided into 5 days of homework.
Whether you have attended bible studies before or this is your first time, come and meet other woman as you study God's word together.
